This is my second time visiting the Nulltown Country Kitchen. It's like rewinding back in time and visiting an old general store from 50 years ago. I went with a group, we tried everything, ranging from pancakes, to omelettes, and especially that they have, which is kind of a mixed breakfast skillet. I made my own omelette and there were plenty of toppings to select and customize it in the way that you wanted. The mail comes with your choice of toast and fried potatoes, which I think Minney would also called shredded hashbrowns. I hate a skimpy omelette, and this one sure pleased me. It was filled with green peppers, plenty of cheese and ham chunks. The food came out piping hot. The waitress was attentive and kept our coffee full as we sat and visited for an hour. The restaurant was filled with locals, and I love the vibe, there are plenty of spaces to eat alone, or groups and tables together, and bring your family. It is also worth noting that in the 2023 Tri State Food Battle battle in Connersville hosted this year by Friends of Fred; this restaurant placed third place with their food truck. Give it a shot, it is worth the drive!
